We are creating information system "Kodeks". This is a fulltext database system. I am leader of the group that includes 25 persons. My main responsibilities are the project managment, analysis, design and development of the system. The system is ported to many hardware and software environments. It includes modules of document storage, document indexing/searching, automatic document clustering>, formatting and text structure analysis. The system can be integrated with other systems via COM, ODBC or http protocols. We have developed original realizations of ECMAScript and SQL for document searching and handling. For Windows and MS-DOS environment we have created a special document browser. The system can be used as stand-alone information system or document storage server. It is used for creation of popular Russian legal information system "Kodeks" (more then 20 000 users), document management system for government of St.Petersburg and a number of other systems (more then in 200 organizations).

I have taken part in a number of offshore software development projects for US market. The projects included porting games from Mac to Windows and vice-versa, development of custom TCP-IP protocol for Windows. My main responsibilities were code development, management of development teams (up to 3 persons), contacts with abroad managers and customers.

1. I developed a number of custom accounting systems.

2. I developed a realtor support system, based on an original DBMS. First it was developed on PDP-11 and was ported to MS-DOS. It supported parallel work of up to 10 operators on one computer using remote terminals. My main responsibilities were development of database system and user interface library.

4. Development of software for signal processing of space-based radar system.

Location: St.Petersburg Russia
Position: developer, researcher

It was a military project to create a space-based radar system for Earth surface observation. I have developed signal processing and visualization software for special hardware. I studied algorithms of signal processing for the synthetic aperture radar. The system was awarded at the Exhibition of Soviet Achievement in Moscow in 1990.
